You GUYS! I haven’t been to a goodwill store in about a zillion years although I see regular posts on Pinterest about it. Someone will find a four dollar sofa and turn it into an amazing new thing with some fabric tacks and fabric. I’m not sure I have QUITE that
persistence vision and so I kept my trip to small items. Actually though I left with $78 of stuff, so I did a little better than I expected, to be honest. I thought I’d show you guys what we got and then a quick small project we did with the items we purchased!
There’s kind of a quick view of most of the goodies. We ended up with a beautiful gold-rimmed bowl that matches our china ironically. I also purchased some smaller plates to use as props when we do food posts. We also got a farmhouse style magazine rack, some silver plates, a brass planter and some other knick knacks!
Darling placemats! I can’t decide yet if we’ll use them or put them in our camper, but either way I love the color combo!
Isn’t the rim on that bowl to die for?!
I love the smaller planter we got for our snake plant. The red platter is for the holidays really but I just adore the scalloped and garlanded edge!
And then this guy…..see how the eyes follow you?!?!
The eyes freak me out JUST a little so I’ll have to figure something out there…..
Disregard my half dead fiddle leaf fig. I jumped on that bandwagon and then neglected my little fig by leaving it in my freezing car for 3 hours. Somehow I didn’t think 3 hours would do it in, but it nearly did. Its honestly making a remarkable comeback but I’m being very careful with it….poor thang.
These little fishie bundt pans are my fave maybe. We got five bundt pans total and I had a sudden stroke of inspiration. Why not hang them on our kitchen wall?! Since they already have hooks we just used small finishing nails to hang each one, one above the other. I set them out first on the countertop to figure out my order.
What do you guys think?? I love them They add just enough farmhouse flair without being too “country cottage” for me. That porcelain cow though, I’m thinking he might be my new coat hanger. Any ideas for me?
